Review: Finally, another good comic book movie. They are quite few and far between, but this one pulled through. Robert Downey, Jr. is a great actor. He has a great sarcastic delivery, which went great with Tony Stark’s attitude. As my friend noted, the first of these superhero movies tend to be a little bit on the boring side because they have to tell the backstory, and this one was a little like that. The final, of the two fight scenes, was pretty short and very late in the movie, but there were some pretty nice shots throughout. Even if you’re not a fan of the comic book genre, this one is just a good action flick with some great comedic moments. It does have the necessary slow moments, but they’re not too boring or slow to draw away from the movie itself. I would recommend this one to just about everyone.
As a side note; I told my friend that we should have stayed until the end of the credits, and now I’m really upset we didn’t. Stick around after the credits to see one badass mother****er.
