DVDPlot Summary: Harold Crick (Ferrell) is an IRS agent. He does everything the same, everyday. But one day he starts to hear a voice that influences what he does and thinks. With the help of a literary professor (Hoffman), he realizes that it’s the voice of the author Karen Eiffel (Thompson). Now he has to find Eiffel before he ends up like everyone else in her books . . . dead.

Review: Great movie. It wasn’t what I was expecting, being a Will Ferrell movie, but I really liked it. The story is great, and even as a serious role, Will Ferrell is an amazing actor. I liked it, but I feel that some might find it a bit boring. It was a tad slow moving at times, but never too dull. Anybody who likes romantic comedies, but is willing to have a few twists thrown in the mix, will like this one.
