Review: I’m not all that much of a Kung-Fu movie kind of guy, but this was a great movie. As advertised, Tony Jaa does all of his stunts with no doubles, wires, or CGI which makes everything seem even cooler. The fight scenes were top-notch quality, and the storyline is much better than older Kung-Fu movies (the “You killed my family, I want revenge!” story). Another cool thing is that Jaa mixed an ancient Thai battle technique with a modern Thai kick-boxing technique, and the moves are spectacular. Overall, this is a, flat-out, great action movie. There are a lot of broken bones, and some tendon cutting that I know people won’t like, but I loved it.
